Our Story

Pastors Matt & Erin Blair dreamed of planting a church in the Tampa Bay area that would bring hope to the people through the love of Jesus Christ. Matt and Erin along with their daughters had vacationed in the Tampa area since 2005 and with each passing year they fell more and more in love with the people and the city. In November of 2012 they could no longer fight the desire to plant a church and so the process to plant Limitless Church began. Matt shared his desire to plant a church with their Pastor Tim Blevins, the pastor of Life Community Church in Wilmington, NC where Matt was serving as the Worship Pastor. Pastor Tim affirmed the call of God on Matt’s life and the next steps in planting Limitless Church began.

In June of 2013 Matt and Erin attended training with ARC (Association of Related Churches), one of the most successful church planting organization in the world that Limitless Church is partnered with. After completing training and being confirmed as an ARC church plant the Blair’s along with a few families from Wilmington, NC moved to the Tampa area in December of 2013 to begin building relationships with people in the area as well as forming the Limitless Church launch team.

Limitless Church had their first official service on Sunday September 14th, 2014!

Our Purpose

We desire to see everyone begin a relationship with Jesus and then we want to help them grow and become who God created them to be. As a church, we simply say, “Jesus is our message, people are our heart!” We want to be a church where people can BelongGrow, and Go make a difference in the world.

Ephesians 3:20 (NIV) says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us”

Mission

Our church doesn’t have a mission, God’s mission has a church. That mission is to MAKE DISCIPLES!

Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

God’s plan was always for us to take the love, grace and forgiveness Jesus has given us to a world that desperately needs it. At Limitless we believe that is still the mission of God’s church, that everywhere we go, we would make disciples by helping someone begin a relationship with Jesus Christ and then equipping and discipling them to become the man or woman God created them to be.
